Next Thursday, 3rd March, is World Book Day. For this event, we'd love your children to turn up dressed as characters from their favourite books. Years 1 and 2 may reprise their superhero costumes if they want to! We're going to be doing a whole-school book for the day which will be 'The Dark' by Lemony Snicket, illustrated by Jon Klassen. Children will take part in age-appropriate tasks related to the book during the day. We're also going to be running an 'Extreme Reader' photo competition in the school. Between now and next Thursday, we want the children to bring in photos of themselves reading in unusual or bizarre locations - the stranger, the better! We look forward to seeing them all.
