Fees and Funding Information

Fees

 At Laddingford, children can be admitted to the nursery once they have turned three, however will have to privately fund until the term after their third birthday, unless they are eligible for other funding (see below).

 

Hourly rate: £6.50

Lunch time charge (half an hour - not available with funding): £3.25

Hot meal: £2.97

Free Early Education for 3 and 4 year olds

All children are entitled to 15 hours of free nursery education for the term after their third birthday.

For example:

  • A child turns 3 between 1st September and 31st December, can access funding from the start of term 3 (January).
  • A child turns 3 between 1st January and 31st March, can access funding from the start of term 5 (April).
  • A child turns 3 between 1st April and 31st August, can access funding from the start of term 1 (September).

We admit children into the Nursery in September, and if places are available, we will admit children in January and April.

30 Hours of Free Childcare

A child qualifies for the extended entitlement if both parents are working (or the sole parent in a lone parent family is working) and each parent earns, on average, a weekly minimum equivalent to 16 hours (National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage) and less than £100k a year. Free for 2 Funding (FF2)

There is also an opportuntiy for FF2 funding for children who have turned three, but are not yet eligible for their Free Early Education funding. More information about this can be found here.

 

Tax-Free Childcare

We are registered as an approved childcare provider through the governments tax-free childcare scheme. Through this, you can get up to £500 every 3 months (up to £2,000 a year) for each of your children to help with the cost of childcare.
