Forest School
Forest School is an opportunity that is offered to all children at Laddingford St Mary's Primary School where they are able to develop their confidence and self-esteem, through hands-on learning experiences in a natural environment. Forest School is a specialised learning approach that allows children to flourish in the wider context of outdoor education.
Laddingford Forest School allows children to develop a wide range of skills, such as bush craft, that they otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity to do inside the classroom, whilst developing an inquisitive, caring attitude towards the natural world.
Each class spends a period of 6 weeks in the forest:
Term 1 - Bramley
Term 4 - Jazz
Term 5 - Russet
Term 6 - Pippin
