Marvellous Masks (Learn more about 3D mask making and create your own Simba mask)
In the Lion King live show, all of the actors wear masks and costumes to make them look more like the animal characters they represent. The coustume designers took their inspiration from the colours, textures and natural materials of the African savanna where the Maasai live. Each mask is made from alot of different items to build a 3D mask.
Activity
Follow the instruction text to make your own 3D lions mask.
Challenge
Draw an annotated sketch of a costume for one of the other characters in the lion king. Don't forget to label your drawing with the materials that you will make each part out of.
