Be the Banker!
Board games can be a lovely way to spend time with the family and most houses will have a dusty monopoly game hidden somewhere! Below are some board games which focus on developing money skills. Links are provided to Amazon, but many a bargain can also be had tracking these down second hand on Ebay (just double check the listing to make sure all the pieces are included!)

Moneybags

Aim: Players move around the board, winning and losing money as they go. When the first player passes the finish line, all players count their money. The player with the most wins!
Monopoly
Number of players: 2-6
Age range: 8+ years
Aim: Monopoly (and it's many -opoly spin-offs) is a fast dealing trading game which will have the whole family buying and selling their way round the board. Make sure everyone is clear of the rules before starting the game to stop any major arguments!
Note: It is often cheaper to search for monopoly on Ebay or Amazon and buy one of the many -opoly versions such as 'monopoly gamer (Sonic the Hedgehog),' 'monopoly LOL surprise,' 'cat-opoly,' which can appeal more to your family.
There is also 'Monopoly junior' for children under 8 years.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
